Just what I was looking for
I bought this as a replacement for a down comforter that my husband hated cause it was too heavy... This is perfect, warm enough and not too heavy at all.
Good casual, comfy bed set!
I own this comforter, bed skirt, and all the pillows and I love it. It is very comfortable and I think it looks nice on my bed. The only two drawbacks I can think of is that it is made of a thinner material and the fact that lint does stick to the spread. I have the king-sized comforter and I decided to attempt to put it in my extra-large washer and it ripped. This is most likely my fault as I somewhat crammed it in the machine, but the material is still slightly thin. One other thing to consider is that lint and dog hair (I TRY to keep my dog off the bed) do stick to the chino-like material, but overall I am happy with the set though. It is nice for a casual bedroom and even my husband likes it because it is not too "girly" which is a frequent compliant of his regarding comforters and pillows. Happy shopping!
Pass on this one...
I had high hopes that this would be a great set. I purchased this comforter, the matching sham, sheets, and the decorative pillow. The quality is very disappointing. The fabric is thin and cheap, and the stuffing in the comforter is very stiff (even makes noise when you squeeze it). I was so excited to make a nice bed for my ten year old son, but I will be sending these back. I expected more from the Nautica brand, but this just did not deliver. Also, the navy fabric is a cotton chino material that everything sticks too! With it being navy, it shows a lot of lint. I liked some of the other Nautica styles I saw here on Amazon, but I don't think I will trust Nautica again.
