Beware of Washing!!!
I have owned my aarondale comforter for a little over a year. I have to say that it is so soft and a perfect weight, and obviously a beautiful pattern... HOWEVER, I do not recommend washing and drying the comforter. There is not enough quilting throughout the comforter to keep the batting in place. After 6-8 washings, the batting is ruined, bunched up in places and nonexistent in other places. Also, having a difficult time with Nautica trying to replace it. I would recommend having it cleaned!

Finally...a stylish Oversized King!
Although it doesn't say it in the product description, this King Comforter really is OVERSIZED which is perfect for our Select Comfort matress. Most duvets and comforters these days just aren't made for oversized mattresses and they end up looking sloppy. The fabric on the Nautica Aarondale King Comforter is very soft and high quality. The comforter isn't overly thick and lays nicely on the bed...great weight for winter & summer.

Absolutly Beautiful
If you like the Ernest Hemingway look this is perfect. I have a contemporary bedroom suite and I get bored of the look sometimes. This toned done the look just enough. It will go great with any color wood. I really wished they had the duvet that way I didn't have to by a whole comforter, but I don't think they are going to sell it, so don't wait.

Great Nautica Plaid Comforter
This is a very nice comforter that I'm sure we will be using for many years. The colors are great and the quality is excellent.

Makes a good looking bed
I've been looking for months for a new queen comforter and when I saw this one I knew it was the one! I also bought the shams and even though they're standard size, a queen pillow fits in perfectly. I don't really care for the bedskirt in navy so I made one out of red corduroy. I also made two pillow covers in red corduroy to set in front of the shams. Now the bed looks great!

Good quality comforter
I needed a larger-than-normal King comforter for our new pillow-top bed. The khaki had a light green tone on my computer screen, but it's really tan, no green whatsoever. It still looks very nice with the red accents in my room. Nice quality, warm without being too heavy to sleep under. The only issue is that it is quite long. I don't have a footboard to help hold it on the bed and during the night, it tends to slip down and touch the floor (and it still comes up to my armpits). It's heavy enough that I have to actually sit up to pull back up where I want it. The navy blue dust ruffle didn't work for me either. I picked up a tailored one from Target in a coordinating khaki and it looks nice. Overall, I'm pleased with the comforter.

Okay duvet
This duvet is not as amazing as I thought it would be. The image of the lily is not as crisp as I thought it would be. It is also a lint magnet! I also feel like the image repeated on the shams is a bit much and don't love the reverse pattern. Overall I think my expectation level was too high. I think the concept of a bold graphic image is nice but I think there is probably better one out there. If you are willing to up your budget a little the Dwell bedding and Marimekko designs are cool contemporary graphic designs.

Don't bother
When I started to unfurl this duvet cover, I was extremely disappointed. I had read most of the reviews, good and bad, but I did not expect the actual product to be of such low quality. I thought I was unfolding newspaper print. Isaac Mizrahi should be ashamed to have his name associated with such a tacky-looking product. It looked so cheap that I didn't even fully unpack it because I knew it was going back. The material was lifeless with no luster or shine that should make the lily pop. I am glad I ordered it through Amazon. Its return policy was simple to follow, and I received all my money back, including shipping and handling. Thanks, Amazon!

Excellent! No problems!
I've been waiting to review this until after I washed it to see if what a lot of people are saying about it bleeding is true. If you look at the reviews that say that they say that they end up with 'tiny black dots' on the white parts of the lily. That is juts part of the design! I had no trouble while washing AND drying it. I just washed it in cold water and it came out just fine. I was a bit worried about what size comforter would fit inside, but I bought a queen comforter and it's actually just a tad bit too small, which is fine. I've only had minimal trouble with it slipping, nothing more than an inch or so though.
Some people were complaining about it being too stiff and not soft enough; it's soft enough for me. If you do buy it and find that problem just use your top sheet in between it and you so it doesn't bother you as much. I'd recommend this set to anyone, it looks great!

It's OK for the price, but fabric quality is lacking
PROS:

1. Stars do, in fact, glow in the dark. Not neon-glow, but they do glow.

2. The complete bed-in-a-bag is nice. You get the comforter, skirt, sheet set, and sham.

3. Price is good.

4. Comforter is reversible. Back side matches the bed skirt.

CONS:

1. The fabric quality is so poor! There were loads of flaws in the bed skirt and there's so much starch on the fabric, it'll take several washes to get it all out. (My tip for the day: To see if a fabric is cheap, crunch it up in your hand. If it remains crinkled and balled up when you let go, it's cheap fabric loaded with starch.) The sheets could stand tall all on their own there's so much starch in them! lol! It'll be many washes till I can place them on the bed.

2. The bed skirt - what the heck?! I would consider this mainly to be a boy's bedding set. I looked closely at the photo, and the bed skirt looks FLAT. It is not. It's a ruffled bed skirt....on boy's bedding. Nice touch.

3. The blue background isn't as vibrant as it appears in the photo. It's more of a weathered, washed out looking blue

Outer Space Comforter
The comforter was recieved within three days of ordering and in excellent condition. It was not as colorful as the picture from which I ordered but other than that fine.

Beautiful
The comforter arrived in good condition. The colors are pretty much exactly like shown - maybe slightly more aqua if anything. Seems to be a good sturdy comforter so far. There are lots quilting stitches used to hold the top, bottom, and stuffing together so it shouldn't rip like our last bedspread did because of a lack of quilting stitches.

Just what I was looking for
I bought this as a replacement for a down comforter that my husband hated cause it was too heavy... This is perfect, warm enough and not too heavy at all.

Good casual, comfy bed set!
I own this comforter, bed skirt, and all the pillows and I love it. It is very comfortable and I think it looks nice on my bed. The only two drawbacks I can think of is that it is made of a thinner material and the fact that lint does stick to the spread. I have the king-sized comforter and I decided to attempt to put it in my extra-large washer and it ripped. This is most likely my fault as I somewhat crammed it in the machine, but the material is still slightly thin. One other thing to consider is that lint and dog hair (I TRY to keep my dog off the bed) do stick to the chino-like material, but overall I am happy with the set though. It is nice for a casual bedroom and even my husband likes it because it is not too "girly" which is a frequent compliant of his regarding comforters and pillows. Happy shopping!

Pass on this one...
I had high hopes that this would be a great set. I purchased this comforter, the matching sham, sheets, and the decorative pillow. The quality is very disappointing. The fabric is thin and cheap, and the stuffing in the comforter is very stiff (even makes noise when you squeeze it). I was so excited to make a nice bed for my ten year old son, but I will be sending these back. I expected more from the Nautica brand, but this just did not deliver. Also, the navy fabric is a cotton chino material that everything sticks too! With it being navy, it shows a lot of lint. I liked some of the other Nautica styles I saw here on Amazon, but I don't think I will trust Nautica again.

Beautiful Set
I purchased 2 of these sets for a vacation home and I am so pleased. The sets look wonderful on the beds. I love the way the spreads and the skirts drape and hang. They are so soft yet manly too. Perfect for all guest. I would recommend this set if you are looking for something in brown...the color is very rich and looks better on the bed than the picture can show. You certainly get all the shams and pillows you could ever want and they are great too. You can't beat the price on this set.
